As one of the first Muslim schools in the UK, Islamia Schools have built a track record for success and excellence for over three decades.
Brondesbury College is run by Islamia Schools Limited, a registered charity in England & Wales (charity reg. no. 1134516). The Yusuf Islam Foundation (charity reg. no. 1134513) is the parent entity of Islamia Schools Limited.
Our Board of Trustees provides strategic direction and oversight. Members work to ensure the school’s resources are well managed, staff are meaningfully deployed, and students benefit from a broad curriculum in a safe environment. They also ensure compliance with legal requirements.
The board consists of three members and, together with our parent charity the Yusuf Islam Foundation, plays a crucial role in maintaining the school’s effectiveness. Key responsibilities of the board members include:
The Headteacher oversees the school's organisation, management, and the implementation of the strategic framework set by the Board of Trustees.
Trustees are highly ambitious for pupils. They are skilful and knowledgeable and perform their roles effectively, providing leaders with strong support and challenge. This ensures that the school continues to improve. Trustees know the school well, including its strengths and areas for improvement.Ofsted 2018
